Passing time

The last 30 days have been busy. We have been trying to keep busy to help time pass by during this deployment. We have done lots of swimming, movie watching, and dancing in the middle of the living room. Loren finally made it to Texas and we have thrown her into out mix of plans.

Loren was accepted though Operation Purple to attend a summer camp at the YMCA Camp Flamming Arrow, just outside of San Antonio. After following them on FB the first three sessions, it seems like a great camp and wished there was one for me to go also.

The girls and I went to a deployed family retreat in Austin for three days. It was great to sit a relax and not worry about anything but the girls and remembering to apply sunscreen every hour!

My dad will be here on Friday and we will be enjoying San Antonio after we pick up Loren from camp on Sat. Can't wait to spend more time with the family.
